subject Re: My tongue piercing
Hannah,
Every single thing I wrote in that Yelp review is factual. Slander is when someone says something false about you. I have attached multiple pictures to that review (5 so far). If you're in the right - if your piercing was correctly placed; if it's OK to be elusive about sharing equipment/autoclave testing information; if it's OK to fumble and drop a bead down someone's throat; if it's OK to be completely unwilling to refund someone money if they had a horrible experience with you - then you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Furthermore, I'm not making threats. I'm informing you that I am taking appropriate actions because I believe you are a health and safety risk. Again, if you're in the right - if you didn't lie to Josiah about spore testing on the first of June, if you placed my piercing correctly, etc. etc. - you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Hannah, I'm honestly baffled. Did you even look at the pictures I attached? Would you be willing to state to me directly, in writing, that a tongue piercing is supposed to go deep through the frenulum, right through the saliva glands? Because the pictures clearly indicate that that's where you pierced mine. I really don't see how you're getting around that!
Angela
PS - There hasn't been much change in the very significant swelling I'm experiencing in my saliva glands. Just thought you'd like to know.
This blog is a chronicle of a horrible (and ongoing) experience I have had with my tongue piercing by Hannah Cherry at Fatty's Custom Tattooz in Washington, DC. DC is an unregulated zone for tattoos and piercings, so artists work on reputation alone. This chronicle is a factual account of my tongue piercing and the aftermath, so that potential customers can make an informed decision about Hannah and Fatty's. The name is a parody on Hannah Cherry's blog, askyourpiercer.com.
